About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Traders to manage real capital allocations across their core markets and strategies. Whether you specialise in directional macro, relative value, stat-arb, technical intraday, or volatility-based approaches — this role is for those with a defined edge and a consistent track record.

You’ll operate as part of a collaborative trading desk, with autonomy over your positions and capital trajectory, while benefitting from institutional infrastructure and support.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a discretionary or systematic portfolio across your primary markets.

• Apply your edge using your preferred execution style — directional, relative value, event-driven, or quantitative.

• Operate within defined risk limits while contributing to overall desk performance.

• Collaborate with Desk Heads, researchers and analysts to refine your ideas and execution.

• Support the wider team through knowledge-sharing and mentoring of Junior Traders when relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. CFA, MSc) are valued.

• Minimum 3+ years of verifiable trading experience with a consistent, profitable track record (audit/referencing may be requested).

• Deep understanding of market structure, execution, risk, and strategy implementation in your chosen asset class.

• Strong communication and trade rationale reporting skills.

• Proven ability to operate within a team-based, performance-driven trading environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Senior Traders may qualify for fixed compensation based on seniority and capital responsibility, subject to preference and negotiation.

• Manage real capital allocations between £250,000–£5,000,000+, with scaling tied to performance.

We are seeking a Head of Global Scale to lead the next phase of SFX’s growth story. This is a senior leadership role focused on global brand expansion, inbound trader pipeline growth, top-tier partnership development, and unlocking non-trading revenue opportunities. This role is for a high-agency, entrepreneurial leader with deep marketing acumen, a global mindset, and a strong ability to translate strategic vision into tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global awareness campaigns to elevate the SFX brand among trading talent, industry stakeholders, and press.

• Develop scalable marketing and communications strategies to drive inbound interest in SFX programs and desks.

• Build and manage a high-performance funnel of elite trading talent from around the world.

• Forge high-level partnerships with educational institutions, content creators, platforms, and other influential nodes in the trading ecosystem.

• Own growth targets across trader applications, brand engagement metrics, and qualified candidate conversions.

• Work with leadership on global revenue expansion strategies, including monetisation of non-trading verticals.

• Identify and act on untapped regional opportunities to expand SFX’s footprint in the UK, Europe, LATAM, APAC, and the Middle East.

• Oversee global content, media, and communications strategy in line with brand tone and strategic goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years experience in a high-growth marketing, brand strategy, or business development role — ideally within trading, finance, fintech, or tech.

• Proven track record of scaling a global brand, launching successful growth campaigns, and leading teams.

• Deep understanding of trading culture, prop firm dynamics, and what attracts top-tier trading talent.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — capable of articulating complex ideas in a clear, compelling way.

• High-agency, results-oriented operator with a strong sense of ownership and a bias toward action.
